Pediatric Neuropathologist

Job Summary
Interpret pediatric central nervous system tumors, neuromuscular pathology specimens, and epilepsy-related resections while evaluating over 200 neurological cases and nearly 500 neuropathology specimens annually. Collaborate with pediatric neurologists, neurosurgeons, and oncologists on multidisciplinary programs for brain tumors, epilepsy surgery, and neurogenetics. Engage in teaching, translational research, biobanking, and molecular diagnostics initiatives within a rapidly expanding division of 18 faculty members. Requirements include an MD or DO degree, board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology, and completion of Neuropathology fellowship training. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Arizona. Rank is commensurate with qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology
- Completion of fellowship training in Neuropathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Arizona
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams, trainees, and researchers
