Job Summary
Provide high-quality inpatient general neurology care for patients with complex neurological diseases and systemic illness manifestations within the Mount Sinai Health System. Collaborate with neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists, particularly in epilepsy and stroke, while avoiding acute stroke and neurovascular cases managed by the separate Stroke Team. Participate in cutting-edge teleneurology coverage opportunities and engage in teaching for residency and fellowship trainees, with flexible weekday, weeknight, and weekend rotation. Establish practice standards and protocols for inpatient neurology care quality across the system, working closely with Neuro Critical Care, Stroke, and Epilepsy services to elevate patient safety and care metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
- Excellent clinical skills
- Interest in outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology
- Excellent clinical skills
