Job Summary
Pediatric nephrologist locum tenens covering both inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services with day shifts and 24-hour on-call responsibilities. Role includes clinic time, virtual visits, performing kidney biopsies, and managing a broad range of pediatric kidney disorders. Requires board certification and an active Pennsylvania medical license; on-site location with call without APP support. Assignment duration ASAP through 1 year, with a variable caseload and support from MA and RN. Locations include Bethlehem, PA and State College, PA with on-site work; on-call coverage across the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in pediatric nephrology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license (PA licensure)
- MD/DO degree
- Ability to provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services
- Clinic time and virtual visits with 24-hour on-call support
- Kidney biopsies performed during day shifts
