Job Summary
Manage outpatient clinics for hypertension, bone/mineral disorders, and genetic disorders while leading the nationally recognized end-stage kidney disease program, including home hemodialysis and transition care with adult nephrology. Oversee acute kidney injury services and coordinate with a team of faculty, dietitians, social workers, and research coordinators to support basic, translational, and clinical research in chronic kidney disease, acute injury, and genetics. Join the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Children's Mercy Kansas City as an Assistant or Associate Professor, applying for a position commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Pediatric nephrologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
- Unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, collegiality, antiracism, and respect for inclusion of individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Seasonal influenza vaccine
- Willingness to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella)
- Evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, patients, parents and visitors
- Pass a criminal background investigation
