Job Summary
Conduct pediatric medical surgical nursing care across a diverse patient population including respiratory, trauma, psych/behavioral, diabetes, and eating disorders. Perform duties on a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every third weekend off, rotating through Peds and PICU units as needed. Maintain Massachusetts licensure and complete required pre-employment modules, including labs within 48 hours of signing. Submit BLS, PALS, and APHON certifications and provide two recent charge/lead references. This 13-week travel assignment begins September 2026 with a 12-hour shift schedule, offering 14 days maximum time off.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience
- Travel experience
- Massachusetts license
- Ability to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- 2 years of recent Peds/PICU experience
- Every third weekend availability
- Floating to PICU depending on unit needs
- 14 days maximum time off
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Proof of identification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- APHON (APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider)
- Registered license type
- MA license state
