Job Summary
Conduct pediatric medical surgical and PICU nursing care for a 12-hour night shift, rotating between three shifts weekly. Maintain PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications while providing direct patient support on the Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit. This assignment requires a Hawaii license, 36 months of total experience with recent unit exposure, and may involve floating to additional units within the clinician's skill set. Candidates must adhere to specific program gap requirements and submit pre-employment modules to expedite onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years)
- Hawaii license
- Peds and PICU experience
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- A 1 year break between staff and travel is required for all Kaiser facilities
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
