Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Assistant at Agave Pediatrics to join a fast-growing pediatric practice onsite in Phoenix. Responsibilities include high-volume patient interaction and customer service, efficient appointment scheduling, medical chart management using eClinical Works EMR, front desk duties (check-in/out), daily opening/closing tasks, phone etiquette, patient rooming and preparation for examinations, conducting basic in-office labs and vaccine administration, providing triage phone support, and occasional Saturday shifts. The role supports a multidisciplinary team in a busy clinic, requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. Requires a Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent certification; insurance experience, medical records management, and privacy practices familiarity are valued. Bilingual ability is preferred but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience and experience level; this is a full-time, onsite position in Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent certification
- Experience working with insurance, managing medical records, and understanding healthcare privacy practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Capable of physical tasks involved with the role, including patient assistance and setup of medical equipment
- Bilingual capabilities preferred, but not a requirement
