Job Summary
Provide one-on-one pediatric home health nursing under RN oversight, delivering skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in the home with a focus on continuity and patient relationships. Collaborate with a clinical team and leadership to ensure care plans are followed, with support available as needed. Requires active Florida LPN license, BLS CPR, and DOEA-aligned Alzheimer’s training resources; TB testing or equivalent; PPE and safety guidelines adhered to; training and preceptor opportunities offered. The role emphasizes stability, schedule flexibility, and ongoing professional development within Care Options for Kids.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
