Job Summary
Provide direct pediatric patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a 1:1 private duty setting in Philadelphia, PA. Implement and document the plan of care initiated by the clinician, educate patient and family/caregivers per diagnosis and plan of care, coordinate with the home health team (HHA, OT, PT, MSW, Dietician) and report identified needs to the Clinical Supervisor. Utilize equipment effectively, participate in professional growth, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse. Requires PA LPN licensure, valid CPR, and at least two years of pediatric experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania
- Valid CPR Certificate
- At least two years experience working with pediatric patients
- Compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills
