Job Summary
Manage a state-of-the-art 24-bed PICU at Banner Desert Medical Center, handling approximately 1,200 annual admissions with ECMO capability, pediatric trauma care, and congenital heart services. Lead a collaborative team of 10 physicians and a nurse practitioner, providing board-certified or board-eligible pediatric critical care to an average daily census of 12 patients. Negotiate flexible day and night shift schedules to ensure sustainable work-life balance for the provider. Requires board certification or eligibility, Arizona medical license, and DEA.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care
- Proven clinical experience in pediatric intensive care
- An Arizona medical license
- DEA (or the ability to obtain them)
