Job Summary
Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician for outpatient clinic and inpatient consults at Sanford Health Fargo, joining a small team within the region’s largest pediatric network. The role includes 24/7 in-house coverage support, a joint appointment with UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and collaboration with subspecialty services across Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, and more. We offer PSLRP eligibility, a comprehensive benefits package, relocation allowance, and opportunities for clinical teaching of medical students and residents. The practice emphasizes consultative services with in-house hospital coverage across a Level II pediatric trauma facility, PICU, NICU, and shared pediatric units, supported by a large team of pediatricians and specialists; the Fargo region serves a broad catchment area across ND, MN, and portions of SD, MT.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician
- Joint appointment as clinical faculty with Department of Pediatrics at UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences
- Pediatric subspecialty loan repayment program (PSLRP) eligible site
- board certified with fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases
- outpatient clinic and inpatient consultant practice
- 24/7 call coverage approximately 1 week at a time
- collaborative relationships with multiple subspecialties
- active involvement in teaching medical students and residents
