Job Summary
Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician sought to join Sanford Health Fargo as a BC/BE pediatric ID specialist for a mixed outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative role in the region's only Level II pediatric trauma center. The practice includes 24/7 in-house hospital coverage by pediatric hospitalists, NICU, and PICU teams; collaborative relationships with subspecialties; a joint clinical faculty appointment with the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences; and PSLRP eligibility with relocation benefits. The position supports teaching medical students and residents, with a focus on delivering high-quality, subspecialty pediatric infectious disease care, and offers an attractive compensation package with comprehensive benefits and loan-repayment opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physicians
- Board certification in Pediatrics with Infectious Diseases fellowship or equivalent
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient consultative care for pediatric patients
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Pediatrics with fellowship-trained Pediatric Infectious Diseases
- BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient consultative pediatric infectious diseases care
- Ability to participate in teaching medical students and residents
- Experience with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center operations
- Willingness to participate in PSLRP/mortgage-loan repayment program or similar incentives
- Participation in clinical faculty appointment at a medical school
- Strong collaboration across subspecialties (Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, etc.)
- Comfort with 24/7 call coverage
- Relocation willingness
