Pediatric ICU Nurse

Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms while maintaining accurate detailed records. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions, then modify treatment plans based on patient responses. Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate care plans in a multidisciplinary setting. Instruct families and groups on disease processes and discharge instructions. When acting as charge nurse, make staff assignments based on patient acuity and skill, serve as a clinical resource, and respond timely to physician or staff requests. Requires RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, current BLS, PALS within 6 months, and one year of RN experience. Pediatric ICU experience is highly preferred.
