Job Summary
Pediatric Hospitalist sought to provide direct patient care across Phoenix Children's Main Campus and community sites (Arrowhead and East Valley) with opportunities for academic hospital medicine and teaching. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care, subspecialty consultations, and procedures; participation in teaching rounds, supervision of residents and fellows, and engagement in research, quality improvement, and educational activities. Roles include both standard and nocturnist positions with potential shift differential; includes 24/7 in-house coverage at sites and involvement in medical education programs and the division’s scholarly activities. Ideal candidates are experienced hospitalists or fellowship graduates and will contribute to mission, education, and scholarly work across multiple sites in the Phoenix area.
Required Qualifications
- General pediatric board eligible or certified
- Willingness to provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ability to supervise and teach trainees
- Participation in quality improvement and educational activities
