Job Summary
Conduct 24/7 in-house coverage of a 20-bed pediatric floor and supervise residents and medical students through lectures, precepting, and small group teaching. Provide oversight for trainees enrolled in the accredited pediatric residency and fellowship programs, while participating in continuing medical education and research initiatives. Maintain high standards of quality and cost-effective care by keeping current with pediatric developments via literature review and medical staff conferences. Work 12-hour shifts within a Level II pediatric trauma center that trains residents and fellows, offering an academic appointment commensurate with expertise.
