Job Summary
Conduct pediatric hospitalist coverage in an inpatient setting, managing 5 daily admissions and 2-3 admissions per shift. Provide night-time coverage for PED ED calls and manage nursery Level I patients. Perform lumbar punctures and deliver newborn resuscitation using NRP and PALS certification. Work 12-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 pm or 8 pm to 8 am, with 5-7 shifts per month. No deliveries are performed as NICU handles those cases.
