Job Summary
Provide skilled overnight nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, administering medications, monitoring health status, and ensuring safety throughout the night. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and clinical leadership to deliver personalized care plans and respond to patient needs using critical thinking. Complete accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining professionalism and punctuality for all scheduled shifts. Work independently during night shifts with consistent scheduling and one-on-one patient interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test results or chest X-ray documentation
- Reliable transportation
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently during overnight hours
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, reach, push, and pull as required to safely perform patient care duties
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally when necessary
- Visual and auditory abilities sufficient to perform nursing responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to safely provide the level of physical assistance required for patient care and communicate any limitations to a supervisor promptly
