Job Summary
Administer skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes under RN supervision while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs through documentation, implement care plans per policies, and ensure infection control measures protect staff and clients. Monitor assigned cases for payor compliance, provide effective communication via clinical notes and case conferences, and complete timely documentation. Demonstrate commitment to the agency's philosophy, educate families on necessary equipment, and respond to individualized psychosocial needs in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to move patients/clients
- Hand-eye coordination
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction in English

Desired Qualifications
