Job Summary
Administer skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their residences under RN supervision, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, families, and referring agencies. Identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs through documentation, implement care plans per provider of care, and ensure infection control measures protect staff and patients. Monitor assigned cases for payor compliance, communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals via clinical notes and case conferences, and complete timely documentation. Demonstrate commitment to professional growth while promoting agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality care. Requires current Texas RN or LVN license, driver's license, and ability to work flexible schedules with some local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction in English
