Job Summary
Administer skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes under RN supervision, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs through documentation, implement care plans per provider of care, and maintain infection control standards. Monitor assigned cases for payor compliance, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and complete clinical notes and evaluations timely. Demonstrate commitment to professional growth while promoting agency policies to ensure quality care. Requires current Texas RN or LVN license, driver's license, and ability to work flexible schedules with local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
- Current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction in English
- Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment
