Job Summary
Conduct specialized nursing care for children with special needs, including medication administration, catheter care, wound care, and assistance with activities of daily living. Manage complex medical requirements such as G-Tube feeding, incontinence care, and seizure monitoring for clients with diagnoses like Rett Syndrome and Autism. Provide ventilator care and accompany parents to appointments and therapies while assisting with light housekeeping and laundry as needed. Work Monday through Saturday, Monday-Friday 2:30-8pm and Saturday 12-8pm, with on-call support available 24/7 via telephone. Receive PAID training and weekly pay every Friday with no out-of-pocket expenses for required background checks or medical testing.
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license to practice in SC
- One year of clinical experience
- Annual TB tests
- Current CPR certification
- Pass a background (SLED) check
- Pass a drug test
- Be physically able to provide care to a child with special needs
- Valid drivers license and insured transportation
