Job Summary
Pediatric hematologist/oncologist sought to provide comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities include collaboration on program development with the Division Chief, 24-hour on-call coverage, participation in performance and quality improvement initiatives, policy development with nursing leadership, serving as an educational resource for nursing staff, residents, fellows, hospitalists, and community physicians, active involvement in medical/surgical committees, development and supervision of research projects within the division, ensuring timely professional billing documentation, and addressing patient surveys and grievances related to quality of care. The role requires an MD or DO, board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, eligibility for New Jersey licensure, and strong interpersonal, clinical, academic, and leadership skills, with base salary disclosed as a minimum base pay contingent on the applicable pay framework.
