Job Summary
The Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist will join a team of two board-certified pediatric hematology-oncology physicians and a nurse practitioner to care for infants through young adults with blood disorders and cancers. The physician will work in both outpatient clinics and inpatient services, with equal call responsibility among the team. The program supports clinical program development, limited medical student/resident education, and clinical research. Collaboration with Riley Children’s Health and integration with affiliated centers enhances treatment options. The practice sees substantial referral volume and sickle cell disease management; opportunities exist for teaching residents and medical students, and for participation in quality improvement and clinical research. The Beacon/Memorial Hospital ecosystem emphasizes multidisciplinary care alongside neurology, infectious disease, endocrinology, and other subspecialties, with a strong administrative and nursing support structure.
