Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist

Join Beacon Children’s Hospital’s busy pediatric hematology-oncology program in South Bend, IN as a BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist. The physician will work in an outpatient clinic and cover inpatient services, collaborating with a nurse practitioner and a pediatric hospitalist team. The program cares for infants through young adults with blood disorders and cancers, sees ~200 new hematology referrals per year, and includes ~30-40 patients in active oncology treatment at any time with a large off-therapy population. The role includes call shared among the physicians, opportunities to contribute to clinical program development, and participation in limited medical student/resident education and clinical research. The program maintains strong ties with Riley Children’s Health and regional academic centers.
