Job Summary
Pediatric Geneticist - Physician role in Philadelphia, PA. Join a hospital-based Genetics Practice with a Level IV NICU, PICU, and comprehensive pediatric care. Provide genetics consultations and screenings for pediatric cancer, intellectual disabilities, birth defects, developmental delays, genetic syndromes, and adult-onset genetic diseases. Lead educational programs for residents and medical students; engage with a diverse patient population; provide inpatient consults; participate in research studies and clinical trials. Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend shifts. Collaborative team includes physician, RN, genetic counselor, and office staff. Relocation assistance and immigration support offered; competitive compensation and full benefits. Requires BE/BC in Clinical Genetics & Genomics and PA license; ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification; board eligibility/certification in ABMGG; immigration status not considered for visa; travel willingness noted as Never.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Clinical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG)
- Unrestricted PA medical license at time of employment
- DEA certification for Commonwealth of PA
- Board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG) with ability to obtain PA license
