Job Summary
Pediatric General Surgeon needed for locum tenens coverage with trauma and laparoscopic procedures. Work includes neonates up to 18 years, 6am–6am shifts with ongoing ER call; average 2 admissions per shift, plus 5 consults and 5 patients on call. Procedures include chest tube insertion, central line placement, pediatric artesias, abdominal wall defects, upper GI endoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy. Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses; assignment details and time entries via online portal. Weatherby Healthcare provides ongoing support with consultants; charter member of NALTO. Location: Camden, NJ, US.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible pediatric surgery preferred
- Locum tenens experience considered a plus
