Job Summary
Pediatric Gastroenterologist needed for a full-time role in a high-volume academic-affiliated practice in the Phoenix Metro area. Responsibilities include the management of pediatric GI disorders, performance of GI endoscopic procedures, and participation in academic teaching within a multi-specialty group and teaching hospital system. The candidate should demonstrate strong teaching abilities, effective communication, and teamwork. DMG is open to both practicing physicians and newly graduated Fellows and may consider visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B). Spanish language skills are a plus but not required. The organization is affiliated with Valleywise Health Medical Center, University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, and Creighton Medical School – Phoenix Campus, with a commitment to serving underserved populations and hosting residency programs.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist
- Experience in pediatric GI disorders; endoscopy and related procedures
- Excellent teaching/education skills
- Strong communication and team skills
- Ability to work in a teaching environment with affiliated institutions
- Visa sponsorship may be considered (J-1 waiver and/or H1B)
