Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Coordinate care between various providers and disciplines while completing weekly patient visits, chart updates, and progress summaries. Adhere to agency policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing home-health pediatric speech language pathology. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
