Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Act as a vital member of the medical neighborhood by collaborating and coordinating care between various providers. Complete a minimum number of weekly patient visits and meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to all agency policies, federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
