Job Summary
Manage outpatient care and inpatient consultation services for children with diabetes and endocrinologic disorders, including high prevalence and rare complex conditions supported by UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill. Lead multidisciplinary clinics for Turner Syndrome, gender wellness, and disorders of sexual development while developing clinical activities at surrounding outreach locations in Southeastern NC. Provide tertiary care referral services to children in Coastal and Southeastern NC through the Novant Health - New Hanover Regional Medical Center partnership. Engage in educational opportunities with medical students, health profession students, and residents within a full-time, onsite role.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible/Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist
- Pediatric Endocrinology
- Expertise in management of high prevalence endocrinology conditions of children
- Willingness and interest in managing rare and complex conditions with the support of the UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill
