Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in Pediatric Emergency Medicine as part of the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School department of Pediatrics. The physician candidate will join a team of 10 full-time faculty delivering 24/7 in-house emergency coverage at RWJUH in New Brunswick, with opportunities to participate in clinical and/or lab-based research, teaching, and other academic activities. The role includes an academic faculty appointment commensurate with achievement, involvement in educational activities, and potential collaboration with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams across RWJMS and affiliated centers (including BMSCH). The department emphasizes collaborative research in mechanisms of disease, novel therapies, epidemiology and outcomes related to childhood diseases, and offers outpatient collaboration at the Child Health Institute of New Jersey as well as access to related hospital and research resources on the Rutgers health sciences campus.

- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
