Job Summary
Conduct pediatric emergency care within a multispecialty practice serving a regional population, collaborating with 30 PEM faculty members. Participate in one of the oldest and most accomplished pediatric emergency medicine fellowship programs in the country. Join a team of nearly 800 pediatric specialists actively involved in clinical care, research, and education at an independent, non-profit 390-bed pediatric health system. Maintain professional relationships with patients, parents, and visitors while adhering to core values of kindness, curiosity, inclusion, and integrity. Provide high-quality care with a strong focus on safety and innovation within a community that embraces the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Seasonal influenza vaccine
- Willingness to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella)
- Evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005
- Willingness to supply immunization records as proof of vaccination
- Share commitment to excellence, integrity, collegiality, antiracism, and respect for inclusion of individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with fellow employees, patients, parents and visitors
- Pass a criminal background investigation
- Pass a drug screen
