Job Summary
Monitor cardiac rhythms, assist patients with daily tasks like bathing and shaving, and complete hourly rounding to anticipate patient needs. Support the Registered Nurse by taking vital signs, reporting changes in patterns, distributing food and supplements, and restocking equipment. Ensure fall-risk patients are marked and monitored effectively while documenting patient information, logs, and labels for communication with physicians. Maintain good standing as a Nurse Aide I with the North Carolina Division of Facilities Services and hold current BLS certification. Requires completion of Cone Health's Basic EKG class within three months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Cone Health's Basic EKG class within 3 months of hire
- Good standing as Nurse Aide I with the North Carolina Division of Facilities Services
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
