Job Summary
Interpret pediatric diagnostic imaging studies including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI while collaborating with pediatric specialists on diagnosis and treatment planning. Lead multidisciplinary conferences and complex case reviews, mentor residents and fellows through academic teaching activities, and contribute to clinical research and departmental education initiatives. Maintain high standards for imaging quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting the advancement of pediatric imaging protocols. This academic-focused role in New York City requires fellowship-trained board-certified radiologists with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to teaching and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York before employment
- Strong expertise interpreting pediatric radiology examinations across multiple imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence
- Must currently reside within commuting distance of New York, New York, or relocate independently before employment
- Authorized to work in the United States
- U.S.-based applicants only

- Not Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Inability to obtain New York medical licensure
- Limited pediatric imaging experience
- Poor communication or inability to collaborate within multidisciplinary pediatric teams

- Previous academic pediatric radiology experience
- Experience teaching residents, fellows, and medical students

- Stable employment history demonstrating continued academic and professional growth
