Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, executing extractions and root canal therapy with precision. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency while maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including aseptic techniques and proper handling of medical imaging equipment. Fabricate dental appliances as needed while collaborating effectively with office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and educating patients on oral health practices.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree
- Completion or in process of completing a Pediatric Dental Residency
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and patient care practices
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
