Job Summary
Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, high-quality care for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. Perform dental restorative and exodontia procedures in an ASC setting, treating approximately seven patients during a typical OR day. Collaborate closely with anesthesia and surgical professionals to support positive patient outcomes while maintaining a patient-centered approach focused on safety and compassion. This part-time role involves no call, weekends, or holidays, offering a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to pediatric dental care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- National Board Certification
- Comfortable practicing across a range of anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional pediatric patient care
