Job Summary
Partner with the surgical team to provide safe, high-quality care for pediatric and special needs patients undergoing dental restorative and exodontia procedures under general anesthesia. Perform approximately seven patient treatments during a typical OR day while collaborating closely with anesthesia and surgical professionals to support positive outcomes. Maintain a patient-centered approach focused on safety, quality, and compassionate care within a collaborative ASC environment in Fort Myers, FL. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to accessible pediatric dental services with a schedule of full-time hours, no call, and no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist with appropriate state dental licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification
- AHA or equivalent PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- National Board Certification
- Comfortable practicing across a range of anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional pediatric patient care
