Job Summary
Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and sterilize instruments. Take digital x-rays, assist with charting and patient records, and educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and home care. Help create a fun, positive, and welcoming experience for every child and family while working collaboratively with the clinical team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) experience and current RDA and X-ray certification are preferred. Monday through Thursday shifts run 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with Friday hours ending at 3:00 PM and two Saturdays per month from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current RDA and X-ray certification (or required state credentials)
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and eager to learn
- Passion for working with children and families
