Pediatric Critical Care Physician Opportunity

Provide 24/7 in-house coverage for Cook Children's Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, which includes 49 beds and manages over 3,200 annual admissions across diverse subspecialties such as kidney, bone marrow, and neurosurgical patients. Manage the dedicated Neuro ICU service with daily multidisciplinary rounds involving Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Rehabilitation, while coordinating with the surgical team for trauma care at the Level II trauma center. Utilize the active ECMO program (VV and VA) and 24-hour EEG monitoring capabilities. Participate in teaching staff development and collaborate with advanced practice providers. Note that this position excludes clinical time in the Cardiac ICU.
