Job Summary
Provide pediatric critical care in the PCICU as part of a team with 1–2 APPs and an attending physician. Cover inpatients with 12-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts (60% nights), managing 5 patients during days and 7 at night. Requires board certification and prescriptive authority. On-site assignment located in State College, PA with locum-tenens coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification required
- Prescriptive authority required
- Nurse Practitioner license (state of PA or eligibility)
- Inpatient pediatric critical care experience preferred
- Locum Tenens experience preferred
- Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) or equivalent may be required
