Job Summary
Conduct clinical intakes, bio-psycho-social assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on emotional regulation and behavioral management, while providing parent coaching and family consultation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including OTs, SLPs, and ABA therapists to ensure holistic care. Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy in accordance with United States healthcare standards. This full-time role begins July 1, 2026, in Yokosuka, Japan, with an annual salary of ¥6,888,000 JPY. Candidates require a Master's or Doctorate degree, professional licensure, and experience working with children. Full visa sponsorship and dependent support are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work (LCSW), or a related mental health field from an accredited institution
- Experience working with children
- Native or professional English fluency
- Valid, unrestricted state or national license to practice independently (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or Registered Psychologist)
- Proof of licensure
- Clean disciplinary record
- 1-year contract commitment
