Job Summary
Conduct clinical intakes, bio-psycho-social assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on emotional regulation, social skills, and behavioral management. Provide parent coaching and family consultation to support progress outside sessions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, and ABA Therapists to ensure holistic care. Maintain clinical documentation and patient privacy in accordance with United States healthcare standards. This full-time role begins July 1, 2026, in Yokosuka, Japan, at a private pediatric clinic. The employer offers full visa sponsorship, a relocation allowance, partial housing support, and access to continuing education platforms. Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling or psychology alongside a valid unrestricted license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work (LCSW), or a related mental health field from an accredited institution
- Experience working with children
- Native or professional English fluency
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted state or national license to practice independently (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, or Registered Psychologist)
- Proof of licensure
- Clean disciplinary record
