Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour shifts covering pediatric admissions, inpatient units, deliveries, and the infusion clinic across Children's Fox Valley and ThedaCare Appleton Medical Center. Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions with support from sub-specialists on the Milwaukee campus and utilize the Children's transport team for transfers. Participate in medical education activities and engage in quality improvement initiatives, though research is not mandatory. Work full-time with six to seven shifts monthly, including some daytime nursery coverage, with all shifts in-house and no home call requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification
