Job Summary
Pediatric Clinical Psychologist at the NEST Clinic will provide outpatient psychotherapy, psychological testing and education to infants through age five as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on NICU graduates post-discharge, supporting development and addressing pediatric/adolescent mental health conditions using a range of psychological tests and treatment milieus. The incumbent should have knowledge of normal pediatric growth and brain development, and experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and trauma-informed care, and evidence-based assessment methods. Doctoral degree in psychology and Texas licensure (or near licensure) and CPR certification are required; strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA accredited institution
- Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas, or the ability to obtain
- American Heart Association CPR must be obtained prior to start
- Experience providing assessments/testing to children (preferred)
- Experience working with children & families (preferred)
