Job Summary
Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part Time) in Tulsa, OK, onsite teaching in a clinical setting for Chamberlain College of Nursing's BSN program. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum and course objectives, planning clinical experiences, providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students, administering assessments, offering remediation as needed, maintaining current agency/clinical policies, developing and posting written clinical assignments, grading coursework in a timely manner, and potentially teaching didactic content under supervision. Requirements include a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license, at least two years of recent instructional experience as an RN, with Illinois RN license required for course assignments. Schedule typically involves 12-hour rotations (7a-7p) for three to four consecutive days. Demonstrates passion for nursing education, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to student and colleague support. Located onsite in Tulsa with in-person teaching format.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Oklahoma
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
- Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses (course assignments prioritized to professors who are currently licensed in Illinois)
