Job Summary
Implement the College's curriculum and course objectives through direct supervision, evaluation, and remediation of nursing students delivering care. Plan clinical experiences, develop written assignments aligned with student competency, and provide documented feedback based on performance. Grade homework, quizzes, tests, and clinical paperwork timely while orienting students to agency policies. May teach didactic content under supervision and report student or agency issues to the course coordinator. Requires a master's or doctoral nursing degree, unencumbered Virginia license, and two years of recent instructional experience. Compensation ranges from $850 to $1,950 per earned credit hour or $560 to $7,245 per assignment depending on role type.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Virginia
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites
- Employment at Covista and/or its subsidiaries requires compliance with the organization's Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
