Job Summary
Senior field-based Pediatric Clinical Development Director Lead responsible for hands-on pediatric site engagement and leadership of a small team to accelerate site activation, optimize enrollment, and resolve site-level barriers across Internal Medicine pediatric programs. Partners with Global Development Leads and study clinicians to translate field-based pediatric insights into actionable execution strategies, while managing travel and promoting continuous improvement of site engagement practices. Requires doctoral-level degree, 10+ years in biopharmaceutical development, pediatric clinical trial experience, ability to coach and develop a team, and ability to work autonomously in a field-based model.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral-level degree in a scientific or pharmaceutical discipline (e.g., PhD, PharmD)
- ≥10 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience including pediatric clinical trials
- experience acting as a player-coach and leading a small team
- strong knowledge of pediatric regulatory frameworks (e.g., PREA, PIP) and trial execution

- Site activation, feasibility, and recruitment optimization experience
