Job Summary
Implement individualized treatment plans under OTR supervision to help children build fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills. Support kids with developmental delays, autism, and sensory differences while collaborating daily with OTRs, SLPs, and SLPAs on an interdisciplinary team. Coach parents on home programs and document sessions for insurance compliance. Rotate through specialty areas including feeding therapy, AAC, and the Social StoriesTM Program across outpatient clinics and school-based settings. Work Mon–Fri from 9a–6p with no weekends, earning up to $37/hour plus performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Active California COTA license (new grads welcome; fieldwork counts)
- Strong communication skills with families, colleagues, and supervising OTRs
- Organization and time-management chops to juggle a caseload and keep documentation current
- Adaptability. Kids are unpredictable. You roll with it.
- No weekends. Ever.
