Job Summary
Perform M-Mode, 2-D procedures, and Doppler echo analysis on adult, pediatric, and neonate patients while documenting all data. Conduct peripheral vascular procedures including arterial and venous Doppler, segmental pressures, and ankle-arm index. Execute tilt table exams, treadmills, 24-hour holters, and pharmacological studies. Maintain current knowledge of cardiovascular techniques and equipment. Precept new staff and mentor others as needed. Complete required vaccinations and adhere to E-Verify policies. This role supports Adventist Health Sierra Vista's Level III NICU and trauma center in San Luis Obispo.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS)
- ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer and/or completion of a one year certified cardiac ultrasound course
- Two years experience as a vascular sonographer and/or completed a certified vascular sonographer course
- Two years experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer and/or completed a certified pediatric sonography course
- One years' experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer and/or completed a certified Fetal ECHO sonography course
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
