Job Summary
Pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon needed for locum-tenens coverage in Louisiana. Roles include providing 24/7 call relief with emergent cardiac procedures, ECMO cannulation in the CICU or NICU with support from a dedicated CVOR team, and on-site coverage for OR and emergency cases. Case load approximately 20 per month; facilities include dedicated CVOR team, scrub technicians, RNs, and first assistants; on-site OR room available for procedures and emergent cases. Location: Melville, LA, US. Requires MD/DO with potential board certification; negotiable on certification specifics. Assignment type includes OR and ER with call responsibilities.
